Davide Casu

 

Born in Alghero on January 16, 1983, he trained in the artistic and cultural environments between Alghero, Turin and Madrid. He enrolled in the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the Piedmontese capital, where he founded the ésthesis , with a happy compositional and concert experience which will end in 2006. After moving to Iberian land, the pictorial activity predominates and there are numerous exhibitions between Alicante, Madrid , Illescas and Ciudad Real, with good reviews from critics. In the meantime, he also continues his concert and songwriting activities for Madrid clubs. Back in Sardinia, he continues to exhibit and write; in 2011 he published C'eran los Suelgius , a literary work in three languages, in the following September he won the Pino Piras Prize for the new song from Alghero. In 2013 he published Cabudianas with the Nemapress publishing house and in 2014 he won the Sari Prize with the poetry Torì , and the Italia mia Prize , narrative section, with the story The Return . Also in the same year, he published the bookstores with the novel Baddes, in 2015 he followed a collection of poems entitled Hablando con Castilla. In October 2015 he was a finalist at the ANDREA PARODI PRIZE, of national scope, where he won the prize for the best text and the prize for the best music, with the song Sant'Eulalia. In 2017 he published the Poetica box for Abba and S'Ard music editions and the albun "Il Poeta" for S'ard music and Egea. In 2018 he was a finalist in Sanremo Rock in the city of flowers, later he won the Mario Cervo record prize, as the best Sardinian record of 2017. In November 2018 he came out with the single "il Pittore". In 2019 he comes out with the single "Foglie di Mare", wins Voci di Maggio Giovani , is the protagonist of the Barnasants, a major event, after the opening concerts at Daniele Silvestri, Bandabardò and Modena City Ramblers, and finally publishes Costa Oest in Llevant , disc in Algherese, mainly intended for paisos catalans .
